Description: the regions in the Atlantic Area harbour enormous potential in terms of marine energy (wave, current, wind). There is a great opportunity to build a leading global industry with significant economic impacts in the maritime field. The benefits of securing a marine energy industry include stimulating the production of renewable energy, helping achieve the EU targets for reducing greenhouse gas emissions, securing energy supplies and providing economic benefits in terms of employment and investment in our regions.
TURNKEY is a transnational cooperation project that aims to exploit the potential of marine and coastal renewable energy in a sustainable manner while ensuring economic vitality, well-being and environmental protection.
